TERMS/ PRICING

Wording

The passenger/s refers to the individual, group or representative party of the passenger/s for whom the Private Hire Vehicle has been provided for by NT Chauffeurs. The chauffeur refers to the Private Hire Driver provided by NT Chauffeurs for the purpose of transportation for hire or reward. 

Bookings

Can be made only in advance via email ntchauffeurslondon@gmail.com or Phone ++ 44 7881 295 385.  Bookings will be confirmed back to client via email or text. The chauffeur and vehicle details will be given to the booker via confirmation email and or by text. Confirmation of booking means an acceptance and agreement by the passenger to NT Chauffeurs stated terms and conditions. 

Insurance

NT Chauffeurs and the chauffeurs provided by NT Chauffeurs are fully insured and licenced to carry out private hire bookings, all vehicles and chauffeurs provided for are insured with public liability. The insurance held will not cover uninsured losses which are covered by travel insurance, nor will it cover the passenger’s personal property or possessions. NT Chauffeurs will not accept any liability to the passenger for damage or loss to property caused by theft.

Liability

NT Chauffeurs does not accept liability for any delays caused, by weather, road works, traffic accidents, strike action or to comply with the instructions of a police officer or delays caused by any instructions given by the passenger.

Smoking
Smoking is strictly not permitted inside the Private Hire Vehicle supplied by NT Chauffeurs.

Children
The passenger will be responsible for the child at all times. Only children 14 and over are allowed to travel unaccompanied. Children must use a child booster/seat until they are either 135cm in height or have reached the age of 12 years. If a child booster/seat is required you must request this at the time of booking. The chauffeur has the right to refuse to carry a child who is not seated according to UK law. 

Carriage of Firearms/Flammable items

Firearms can only be carried when accompanied by the registered holder of the firearm certificate. You must make us aware if firearms will be carried and provide a valid firearm certificate at the time of booking. The passenger carrying the firearm must have a valid firearm certificate available for inspection by the chauffeur at commence of journey and it is to be carried with the passenger at all times during the journey. Flammable items of any kind are not permitted for travel within our vehicles.

Luggage 

The Chauffeur can refuse to carry any excess luggage which does not in the opinion of the chauffeur fit safely and securely in the boot of the Private Hire Vehicle. Please advise at the time of booking the amount of luggage you are travelling with. Small cases are permitted with the passenger inside the Private Hire Vehicle as long as they pose no safety concerns in the drivers opinion.

Damage

Passengers will be liable for any damaged caused to the Private Hire Vehicle such as spillage, sickness or scratches.  Passengers must be mindful with regard the interior fittings, seats and surfaces so no damage is caused. Any damaged caused will be charged to the passenger.

Number of passengers

The number of passengers must be advised at the time of booking. The chauffeur can refuse the right to travel to the passengers who exceed the Private Hire Vehicles legal requirement.  For the saloon this is a maximum of 3 passengers. For the people carrier MPV vehicles this up to 7 passengers.

Payments

We take all major credit and debit cards. Card details are taken when making bookings this secures the booking. Payments due are taken at the end of the passengers’ journey this is typically the quoted price and any further expenses including waiting time.  All receipts will be emailed, and any credit /debit card details will be destroyed. Account bookings for regular clients are welcome but subject to status. Invoices are sent for payment within 14 days of the booking and chauffeur services completion.

Charges Prices are excluding VAT. (Prices detailed below are subject to UK VAT, currently at 20%) .

Cancellation within 24 hrs of booking will result in 50% chargeable fee%)

A no show (deemed after 45 minutes without advising the chauffeur) will result in 100% chargeable fee.

Prices where applicable include London Congestion Charge fee which is currently £15.00 all prices includes 30 minutes waiting after that waiting time charges become applicable.

LHR to W1 & SW1: £160 + parking 

LHR to WC1 & WC2: £180 + parking 

LHR to SE1: £180 + parking 

LHR to EC1 EC2 EC3 & EC4: £200 + parking

Gatwick to Central London: £230 + parking 

Luton airport to Central London: £230 + parking  

Stansted airport to Central London: £230 + parking 

Biggins Hill airport to Central London: £230 + parking 

Day rate:  minim 4 hours hourly rate £65

Out of London price: £3.50 per mile door to door.

Waiting time: £65 per hour

Expenses

Expenses will be recharged at cost. These are typically but not exclusively include, Road Tolls, Bridge Tolls and Parking charges. 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Fees are payable on any bookings which are cancelled within 24 hrs of the booked time.  Any ‘no show’ will result in a 100% cancellation fee. 

Gratuities

Gratuities are at the discretion of the passenger.

Lost property
